Level Structure:
Bureau
of Non-Formal Education is established at the national level. The features of
the Bureau are as follows:
(a) The Bureau would have full authority of NFE oversight and management in the country. The Bureau also serves as
the executing agency, on behalf of the
government, for projects funded by development partners, as needed.
(b)
A Director General (DG) works as head of the Bureau. It has other 36
staff all recruited by the government.
(c) The government provides annual allocations from its own budget to meet the operational expenses for running the
Bureau and its affairs.
(d)
Total manpower strength of the Bureau is 229.
