Training Institute (PTI):
There are 55 (including one non-government ) PTIs in
Bangladesh. C-in -Ed board conducts the C-in-Ed examinations for the PTI trainee
teachers and also confers the successful trainees with C-in-Ed certificate. DG
of NAPE is the ex-officio chairman of this board. NAPE
also supervises the academic activities of the PTIs. All PTIs have
average 200 seats for the trainees. Both first and second shift training are
provided there. Head of the PTI is Superintendent . An Assistant Super and 12
Instructors assist him. More over there is an Experimental Primary School in
Each Govt. PTI.
