7. Expansion of Cub Scouting in Primary Schools (2^nd phase)

7.1 Objectives of the Project:

i)  To build up the primary school age children of the country as self reliant, patriotic and man of  

    values through Cub Scout activities (Program) so that they can take their places in the society

    as physically fit, mentally alert and spiritually disciplined citizens;

ii)  To increase the number of Cub Scout;

iii) To ensure sound investment for the development of human resources of the country through 

     modern scouting training of the Adult Leaders, Volunteers  and the Primary School Teachers;

iv) To involve Cub Scout Leaders in promoting the primary health care of the citizens and the 

     environment of the country through social motivation; and

v) To construct a Cub Scout Bhaban in National Scout Training Centre, Mouchak and seven 

     regional Cub Scout Bhaban in Dhaka, Rajshahi, Khulna, Chittagong, Comilla, Sylhet and 

     Barisal through which the Cub Scouts can participate in their Program and Training.
