Certificate in Education (C-in-Ed.) Board:
The then ‘Ministry of Education’ authorized NAPE to conduct the activities of C-in-Ed Board in 1982 by an official order. Now Director General of NAPE is the ex-officio chairperson and DD (Evaluation) is the member-secretary of the Board. The Board also has a controller, an assistant controller and some other officials.
The main activity of the Board is to conduct C-in-Ed examination. For this reason the Board has to prepare the questionnaire and answer scripts and distribute it to all of the 55 PTIs. The board also has to supervise examination centres, publish results and award certificate.
