About CPEIMU
Compulsory Primary Education Implementation Monitoring Unit (CPEIMU) is a unit under the Ministry of Primary and Mass Education. Compulsory Primary Education program has started initially in 64 Thanas on January 1, 1992 and subsequently all over the country on January 1, 1993. This Unit was engaged in overall supervision of implementation of this programme. It comprises forty four posts (Class I -10, Class III -15 and Class IV-19 post). Subsequently, arrangement has been made to engage more officers and staff members to this unit from the "IDA assisted PEDP for Dhaka, Rajshahi and Khulna Division Phase-I" to cope up with the increased volume of works.
